Christian Watson just signed for 4 years 110M. I can't help but feel he's Rashid Shaheed minus the return abilities and he just got overpaid because of where he was drafted. Shaheed for 17 million a year seems like a relatively good deal considering what other WR2s are getting paid. The combined cap hit for JSN and him isnt a crazy amount the next three years and we can save 15.5 mil by cutting Shaheed in 2028 if he doesn't live Florida Gators No Shoes Nation Skull Shirt Kenny Chesney College Shirt contract. We're in a great cap situation for the future. QJ's 18mil 5th yr option looks like a steal after seeing what Mr. Glass got from the Packers. Watson hasn't even been on the field consistently and got 27.6mil per yr because he's a WR. He already tore his ACL & hamstring in his career. A lot of fans were pretending the Chargers got scammed for giving a WR with 16TDs the last 2 years 18mil as a 5th yr vet.
