Anecdote 1. I saw a short film once about a guy who went to Denison University. He was very good (at Denison)… he was D-lineman, I think. He knew his chances of getting drafted were next to zero, but his brother, acting as his agent, sent a flashy highlight reel to every team. One team, the Steelers, bit, and drafted him in a late round (the draft was 12 rounds then instead of 7 as it is now). The guy quit after two days of practice, saying that the physical punishment was at a level he was totally unprepared for. Anecdote 2, much better known. In a recent documentary, monumental NFL bust Kansas City Chiefs Football Team Established 1960 Vintage Men Fans Shirts admitted that he watched "no tape." As in absolutely none. Now there are multiple reasons why Manziel didn't make it, but it's telling — all the talent in the world.
