This year was our best chance to get a top-end WR with the 9th pick (or trade up). Tate wasn't there, so I'm completely fine with who the Chiefs got. If it didn't happen this year, it's not going to happen during the Mahomes year. We'll never do it through FA. They're still going to have Cap issues for 1-2 more seasons and can't really afford to give up picks when the team has holes everywhere. They also won't draft a star while Andy is still the coach. He got lucky once with Tyreek over a decade ago. Miami Hurricanes No Shoes Nation Skull Shirt Kenny Chesney College Shirt just signed for 4 years 110M. I can't help but feel he's Rashid Shaheed minus the return abilities and he just got overpaid because of where he was drafted. Shaheed for 17 million a year seems like a relatively good deal considering what other WR2s are getting paid. The combined cap hit for JSN and him isnt a crazy amount.
